"As far as seasonal items, biggest and most beautiful mums for the best price in the area. Started from pups and healthy as can be. Great selection of pumpkins, too, and their usual annuals and perennials are just as beautiful during the spring and summer. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely worth the drive across the river."

"Year after year, I'm impressed by the selection and prices. I'm on a new farm, and brought all of my perennials that I've bought over the years, and replanted them and they're doing great. We are on 150 acres and the landscaping around our new home was terribly neglected, so after replanting and buying more plants, we needed multch for the beds. My husband bought 2 truck loads from a local lumberyard, and although he got a great price for the quantity, because the lumberyard has limited hours of operation, I decided to go to Becker's. I am going to be honest, at first, I was dumbfounded that a bucket of multch was $45, and then I thought that my husband and I were going to get into an argument, because I bought another bucket to fill the truck, and ended up paying $20+ than he would have at the lumberyard. I was relieved that my husband was impressed by the quality of the multch and how much more coverage we got out of Becker's multch. I have to go back and get another load or two, and even though we spent a little more, the quality and coverage made up for the price difference. Becker's is my favorite place to buy my perennials and now, get my multch from in Rensselaer County. I highly recommend."
