"Dr. Lewis went to medical school but they forgot to teach her bedside manners! She is beyond flat, rude and arrogant. Hopefully she will move out of family medicine which she is clearly not happy in and where patients are truly looking for that connection with their primary doctor . I moved to this practice because Dr. Gumuchian was highly recommended. Unfortunately she does not accept new patients and I was offered Dr. Lewis. Don’t waste your time, I’ll be finding a new practice."
"That’s a bad experience to be a patient here, so bad the appointment system is. Today is my first appointment to see my doctor in here. Actually first is my fault, I didn’t make sure the correct address before I went there. So I tried to call office before my appointment, but it is hard to connect, when I finish my phone, it was almost 15 minutes. And they told me I don’t have any chances to see doctor today even I have HSV, I really need to see my primary doctor( I went to urgent care on Sunday, when that doctor knew I have a primary doctor appointment today, she said that’s great time, so she just did the treatment for me until today.) after phone I still go to the office tried to see doctor today, my appointment is 9:00am, after all the call, I arrived there 9:27. They didn’t give me any chance to see doctor. They just told me next Tuesday, no any opportunity. They not care how you need them, that’s not the primary doctor definition in my mind. Two months ago I had fever, I called the office, they just told me go to urgent care. I am so confused primary doctor just for yearly physical? My last primary doctor is totally different, when I have fever or any health issues, they have an emergency appointment. But that’s the doctor retired. So disappointed."
"Very unprofessional and unresponsive referral team - I left voice mails so many times and no one ever called me back until 4 months later. I would have rated 0 stars if I could. 4 months after seeing a doctor whom I needed a referral for I’ve heard from a referral specialist trying to persuade me I did not need a referral for my insurance plan (which I did). 5 months after - no referral still … and one voice mail with “it’s being worked on”. Very disappointing considering my PCP doctor is really good."
"My family of 5 have been patients of FCC for 17 years and all share the same PCP, Dr. Pifko, and he is wonderful. Throughout the years we have all also seen many of the other physicians for sick calls, almost every nurse in the practice, as well as the NP Susan Bove who is no longer there. Overall our collective experiences have been excellent with the medical staff. Admittedly they have had some difficult receptionists over this period of time, but the majority have been very good. Any issue I had was resolved by the office manager to my satisfaction. I would recommend this practice for sure, so I’d caution you to be be weary of some of the very negative reviews, especially during these past two years of total chaos in the medical field where all practices are doing the best they can. After all, they are human just like the rest of us."
"Family care needs to get new receptionists. So rude and abrupt! Called for sick appt after being advised by emergency doctor to make an appt. in relaying that to the ignorant receptionist she told me I would have to wait 2 weeks for an appt. tried rushing me off the phone huffing and puffing because I guess I asked 1 to many questions In my 3 min phone conversation. This is nothing new, the receptionists are always rude and act like your bothering them. This is tiresome. Not to mention the nurse Susan Bove who is just as bad. If family care doesn’t weed out the unhappy miserable workers they won’t have any patients left. Yes they prob are overworked but , aren’t we all. this attitude has been going on for a very long time. When I’m sick the last thing I want to worry about is how poorly am I going to get treated when I call my caregivers office. So I finally smartened up and found a much better office where you won’t be left feeling frustrated and mistreated after calling to try and make an appointment !"
