"I can’t stand going to the doctors office. I have not had the greatest experiences however I had a issue with my body so I scheduled an appointment to be looked at. I found out my past doctor had retired and had an appointment with Dr Ruvolo. I can’t say enough great things about her. She made a very uncomfortable visit easy. Her medical manners reminded me of the Doctors of old. She cared, was encouraging and was passionate about her work. I joke a lot and she handed it with grace. I told my wife it was the best experience I ever had on a doctors visit from check in, to prep, and the exit. I am going to try to start making my appointments. I was so pleased overall. Thank you Dr. Ruvolo. Your amazing!"
"Been taking my son here for almost 2 years have had 50/50 good and bad experiences. Some of the doctors are caring and more efficient than others. A lot of errors over time though and lazy service from staff on multiple occasions. For instance, bringing my LO in for flu shot and then not having the flu shot and then trying to tell me I would have to wait a month until they order some. Recently brought him in for strep concerns both my fiancé and I both have strep A and they didn’t do a swab because the medical assistant didn’t know how and the NP looked in his mouth barely so they sent us home. Here I am now dealing with toddler with horrible symptoms of strep and no antibiotics. Very slow to provide paperwork. Portal is hard to navigate. Lagging with professionals and not up to date with times. Maybe budgeting issue."
"The staff at Lamprey River/Raymond are the best. They got me an appointment as soon as worked for myself as well as them. Jamison really took his time to explain what was going on. I don't think there is any Dr or nurse practices that I would not go see. My primary care, Karen, always takes the time to find out how I'm doing in all area's of my life. Thank you all, from the administrative staff to the medical staff, keep up the great work and caring you show all the time!"
"Mediocre care and staff are wildly disorganized - like I've never experienced at any other office. 1.They lost my son's immunization records apparently. I still don't understand how that's possible to erase/lose records but they did "upgrade" their system last year to use the NH Immunization Information System, which I'm guessing they lacked training for it. After multiple attempts I still don't have records for my son. 2. They often do things like make doctor appointments for my mom to get refills authorized, something for a diabetic that will OBVIOUSLY need labs, and yet they consistently make appointments for her when the labs are closed - so I can take off work again to drive her back for lab work. Clearly my time is meaningless to these people. 3. I don't even bother leaving messages anymore, they always get the details wrong or call the wrong person back. My husband will call about our kids, and they almost always call my cell phone back instead of him, even when he explicitly tells them to call his number! He's calling because I'm working/busy/out of town and can't answer the phone. Once is a mistake, this is every time. Same thing with my mom, if I call and leave a message (I have full PoA for her) they don't call me back but call her - and get irritated with her since she's deaf and can't hear them. 4. In line with the phone issue, good luck getting a referral. Getting speech therapy for my daughter was a nightmare and took many attempts, they sent us to multiple referrals who would not take her due to age. I gave up and got better help from the school district. Or my 2 year old needed a referral to a specialist and they kept trying to do referrals to places that did not do pediatric care. Really??! I can keep going, but these are just examples. It's just beyond frustrating, nothing is easy. Even if the doctors were good (they're average) they keep such poor staff we are changing to new care elsewhere. They are such a disorganized bunch - I let a lot go for years because we moved here during the pandemic and I blamed that, but it's gotten worse not better since the pandemic ended. They've been okay when it's just me, but if you've got a family or are caretaker to someone elderly it's probably less frustrating to go anywhere else."
"When I enrolled in Anthem, I was assigned a PCP that would not take me. So I started calling around and everyone told me 6-12 weeks to see someone. I went with Lamprey Health Care, and they said that their scheduling person would call me. I told her that I was concerned about being able to get refills of prescriptions; she found me an appointment the following week. Everyone here has been incredibly friendly and welcoming, and Jill Worden was very thorough and listened well. I highly recommend the practice."
