"We come here at least once a week, often more frequently. The staff here are always helpful and courteous, quick to respond and handle check out. The store carries a decent selection of things we need, is clean and orderly. The pharmacist is wonderful, hard working and patient, and staff in the pharmacy extremely helpful in sorting out issues (not of their making) with prescription refills, etc. We have lived in JP since before CVS took over this location (at one time it was a Woolworths), and we have NEVER had any problem with the staff at this location, or finding what we need. 5 stars! ***** actually more like 6. Or 10! Bravo!"

"Stay away from the pharmacy. I have no problem with the retail portion of the store, the pharmacy on the other hand was an absolute garbage fire. On top of a technical disconnect between care providers and CVS, the young pharmacists generally don’t seem to care or at least have a clue where they are, what they are doing or who they are serving. It’s as if their capacity for problem solving died the moment they received certification. After waiting close to 2hrs to resolve an issue with half of my son’s RX, I was ultimately told the location was out of stock. After being informed that two locations were stocked, they failed to mention that their hours were different. In fact, there was no way I was going to make it in time since the locations closed at 8:00 while informing me at 8:15. My son’s infection was serious, so I wasn’t in the right state of mind to double check their info. Luckily I was able to get wat I needed from Boston Children’s. Shoutout to Simon - he was empathetic and helpful to my son’s situation, while the pharmacist was not. Also - I’m not the only one that was having issues, multiple customers including two in healthcare (1) was a Dr, were having issues with whatever was going on behind that pharmacist desk. Huge shoutout to the Boston Children’s location!! Their crew was much more professional and prompt with getting the RX filled."

"Tried to pick up my prescription three times after being told it would be ready for pickup each time. Finally came to my senses and had it called it into a different pharmacy instead. This place is horrible. Always a huge line at the pharmacy and the register, prices are absurd, and there are always panhandlers right outside the door who often walk into the store and beg while you're waiting to check out. Staff is rude, often out o stock of key items, just an overall mess. CVS should shut this location down. It's an embarrassment to their brand."

"Suggest using a different pharmacy for prescription medications. Like many other reviewers have commented, the pharmacy service is unacceptable: regularly do not refill prescriptions (you have to call to tell them to do it); excessive hold times for phone calls; excessive lines for prescription pickup. Also, the support staff are generally under qualified, for example, not knowing that May is the 5th calendar month, even though entering birth dates is a standard CVS job function."
