"I feel perplexed. Most of the pharmacists here are efficient, helpful, and kind. However, there’s one pharmacist cashier named Kimberly who’s abrasive, incompetent, and treats customers like an inconvenience. I patiently waited in the long pharmacy line, and approached the counter. I greeted her and was met with silence and a look of disgust. I told her my name and then she mumbled asking for my info. It was hard to hear her over the store’s music so a few times I politely asked, “I’m sorry, what did you say?” She seemed annoyed by this, but I gave the benefit of the doubt and remained amicable. The medicine came to $1000, so I told her I needed to use my insurance so that it’s covered. I gave my card, but she didn’t see the info she needed on my insurance card. Her solution was to immediately give up and try to dismiss me. At this point, there was no line behind me so there was no reason for her impatience. I asked what additional info she needed so that I could find it for her. She kept mumbling very quietly, so it took multiple attempts. She also seemed confused, so I asked, “Can I hand over the phone so they can read the info you need?” She had a look of disgust and said “No, I’m not doing that.” It seemed like she wanted me to leave with her short, unhelpful responses. It took numerous attempts to get the answer from her of what info she needed. I stepped aside and got the information she told me to get from calling my insurance. I went back to her saying I have the info and showed her it written on my notes. She acted surprised, asking “what’s this?” I reminded her. Then I had to convince her to try entering the info again because she acted doubtful and let out an exasperated sigh. After typing, she said smugly “that didn’t work.” A friendly pharmacist then came over and tried for her. He said info was still missing and he gave me a paper with the info needed. It turned out Kimberly didn’t give me all the information they needed. I wouldn’t mind her mistake if she weren’t so condescending. I stepped aside and called my insurance again saying they need more info. They said they will call the pharmacy to give them the info over the phone. I told them that the pharmacy refuses to talk to them. They thought that was weird and said they will call anyway. With no people in line, I approached Kimberly to tell her my insurance is calling to give the info over the phone. She said, “what info?” and I reminded her. Then she grunted, “why?” as if she had no idea what I was talking about. She then told me she refuses to answer the phone and that no one will answer it because the phones are all busy. Then she started ignoring me and walked away acting busy. I repeated that I need them to answer the phone so I can get my medicine covered. I said I already waited 2 weeks for it due to a shortage of the drug. She then condescendingly said it’s not her problem and that I should say “please” which was ironic considering her attitude and poor communication the entire time. Then she told me to move over so she could attend a customer that suddenly appeared. Then for the first time, she abruptly acted friendly and flirtatious to the next few male customers while ignoring me. At this point I had been there about an hour total and she completely gave up on me. So I just stood to the side waiting while my medicine was being held hostage because she refused to enter my insurance. Then a nice pharmacist, an older woman in a lab coat, saw me standing there and asked if I needed help. I told her the situation and she answered the call from my insurance and entered the info. Finally I was able to get my medicine. If the nice, competent staff were at the front desk instead of Kimberly, then this wouldn’t have taken an hour. I also heard her complain about her job to a few customers. Perhaps she should find a new job if she’s burnt out. Like I said, the other staff are fine. There’s a young woman with long brown hair who’s very nice and sometimes at the pharmacy front desk. Kimberly has short, black hair and face piercings."

"DO NOT GO TO THIS PHARMACY. Absolutely incompetent and clueless pharmacy workers. Major waste of time. Avoid this place at all costs. Go to anywhere else. Plenty of friends and family have similar experiences to this. The retail store itself is okay, but the pharmacy is really not good."

"if i could give zero stars, i would. absolutely horrendous customer service. on hold for 4 hours only for them to disconnect me when i was FINALLY the next caller. you aren’t 7/11, you are walgreens. you provide our medications and you’re doing a BAD job at that and being attentive to your customers and callers."

"I called Westford Walgreens with a prescription question. I WAS ON HOLD FOR TWO HOURS (I was working and kept it on as background music while the voice kept the countdown about how many calls were ahead of me). Once I was the next person in line, WALGREENS HUNG UP ON ME! STAY AWAY!!!! They don't care or respect you."

"Came by to pick up a couple things from here yesterday evening, and the older workers were standing at the entrance of the aisles staring at me and the people I was with basically watching our every move, and it was extremely uncomfortable. They couldn’t have made it any more obvious that they were watching us and it was honestly just outright disrespectful. Talk about profiling. I didn’t even want to buy my items anymore, put them back and walked out. Last time i am coming to this Walgreens."
