"Auntie Cathie’s Kitchen was the best choice for our wedding catering. Cathie, who we struggled to not call Auntie Cathie the entire time, fits right in like a member of the family. She was so excited about our venue and made us feel like she was going to cater our entire wedding with the warmth of a home cooked meal. She delivered on that notion and created an excellent experience for us. She answered our questions diligently and met with us several times to help us put together a delicious menu. Our guests loved the food and we had a great time sharing our wedding experience with her and her staff. She told us that she would make more than enough food which she absolutely delivered on (we had leftovers for weeks!). Other caterers told us that we couldn’t keep extra food which seemed wasteful and counterintuitive. The staff she brought with her were just as kind and enthusiastic as she was. She offered us a price that couldn’t be beat, believing that just because the catering was for a wedding, doesn’t justify price gouging. She was very accommodating with dietary restrictions, which was greatly appreciated as the bride and several guests were gluten-free. I do believe this was her last time catering, so the best way you can support this awesome local business is to stop into Auntie Cathie’s Kitchen and get yourself a nice home cooked meal or a delicious gluten free dessert."

"One of my favorite places ever. Feels like home, just sitting at home in a busy kitchen like my Grandmas. The hustle and bustle. The mismatched mugs, the random salt and pepper shakers it is the homey vibe you are looking for a home away from home. I love the homey atmosphere. I am gluten free (not celiac or allergy but intolerant). I have tried all the food. It is all delicous. The breads, the cookies, the muffins, the sandwiches, the soups. I mean everything it is all delicious. It is all so so good. It is a great place for a brunch or lunch. Very allergy friendly / allergy conscious. I highly, highly recommend if you visit Western MA. Always check the hours before you go."

"When I found out I had celiac disease a couple months before my wedding, Cathie saved the day by making my wedding cake and catering brunch on my wedding day. We had a lot of compliments on the cake and many people didn't even realize it was gluten free! And brunch was amazing! The sandwiches were perfect, the quiche was great, the pastries were awesome, everyone loved it! My bridal party was a little skeptical when I told them all the food that morning would be gluten free, but they all enjoyed it the day of. To address some things other reviews have mentioned... Cathie can sometimes sound a little rushed when talking to her, but that's just because they are so busy! She is a super nice person! And things are expensive there because it's a dedicated gluten free/allergy friendly place. As a baker myself I have been discovering just how stinking expensive it is to make safe, tasty, gluten free stuff. And it's really not that expensive compared to other bakeries! Actually, my wedding cake cost a tad bit less than it was going to cost at Atkins Farm, which was a nice surprise. I don't have professional pictures back yet, but I've attached a picture of the cake."

"If you’re thinking of coming here for some food, just stop thinking about it and get over here! Their food is absolutely wonderful! This is easily the best chicken salad I’ve ever had in my life (and most of my life revolves around food lol) we also had some of their clam chowder and it’s definitely outstanding! We also tried the gluten free waffles and it’s just to die for. On top of that we chatted a bit with Auntie Cathie herself and she’s such a wonderful and sweet person, she even shared with me a couple of her secrets, still need to find out how she literally makes the best gluten free bread I’ve ever had in my life: get over here and enjoy her superior food ASAP!!!"

"The food was AMAZING. Many gluten free and vegan options. Baked goods also gluten free and vegan. Our food selections: The famous meatloaf sandwich with cheddar, bacon, lettuce and cranberry mayo. Homemade Waffles with fresh blueberries and strawberries. GF/V with pure maple syrup, whipped cream and "butter". Vegetable soup."
