"Requested a disability accommodation to visit the branch and review my auto loan application but they refused. Cost me $50 for Uber and I still left empty-handed. They were apologetic that they do everything by the numbers with no personal consideration for extenuating circumstance."
"DCU is a FRAUDULENT ORGANIZATION!!! I opened an account, tried to transfer in money digitally from my other bank, only to have my account locked for an INDEFINITE AMOUNT OF TIME!! I cannot access the funds in my account, I cannot even generate interest - the whole reason I opened was because of their superb rates!!! I spoke with the call center and they tried to interrogate me about where I travel and how I make my money. Are you serious? Then I asked if I could close my account and they said not while your account is under review. So DCU is holding my money HOSTAGE while an arbitrary review is carried out with NO quantified end date for such review!! I asked if my money was being held hostage and the call center representative literally said "yeah, it is - sorry for the inconvenience" INCONVENIENCE? I don't want to have to call a lawyer but I will if this isn't sorted out ASAP."
"I have been a member for 17 years, since change over in C-Suite this bank has gone seriously downhill, pretty disappointing. Everything from no virtual account access (up to 16 hours while traveling), long deposit holds and poor customer service (changes to accounts without notification)I have decided to close up shop on DCU - The era of local credit unions is over, online banks offer better service, and technology."
