Reviews of F H Cann & Associates Inc.
"I don't know if this company is still in service, but I received a fraudulent phone call from someone claiming they worked for this company. I called all numbers that were either provided over the phone or listed online and they were all disconnected or redirected to an unrelated agency."
"Terrible place to work, deal with etc etc. Do not work here. Don't. If you desperately need $ and have no other choice...it's still not even a maybe. Find anything else just trust a stranger on this I'm doing you a favor. As for the service they provide, awful. Management doesn't care about their employees, in turn the employees don't care about the companies customers or clients. This is a burning building, no need to go inside if you see fire and smell smoke, you know it's going down. It may also help your employees, not the executives who take advantage of the employees but the actual employees who make you all $ if you didn't buy plane tickets like they were going out of style and used that $ to...I don't know, pay your employees adequately? All these Celtics games and it's the same 27 family members there but I don't see any people who work for you there who isn't family or"connected" somehow. You do these food drives to help the homeless but yet your employees are a step away from poverty themselves, maybe help them? Good luck to anyone working there."
"I had an unfortunate encounter with this company. When I asked them for a transcript, they did not send it to me. However, my overall experience with their employees left much to be not desired. I found them to be unprofessional and lacking in individuality, as if they were trained to act like robots. Their approach to communication seemed humorless and rigid. What truly frustrated me was their handling of a bill from a community college, which I believe I didn't owe. Despite my attempts to resolve the matter, they reported it to the credit bureau, causing a negative impact on my credit score. I must emphasize that this decision seemed baseless and, from my perspective, only compounded my frustration."
"They argue, talk to you as if you're stupid, and try to make you feel like you have no other option by LYING. They speak on companies they don’t own or work for. They say that lenders won’t work with third parties, and yet I literally JUST settled a debt with the lender they explicitly told me won’t settle with third parties…. USE CAUTION. If you owe debt, reach out to THAT lender. Not the collection companies calling you. They will work with you and they will reduce the amount you owe. You do have options. Don’t let their scare tactics force you into anything. You can also use a debt relief program. Those are the third parties they claim lenders won’t accept but I’ve settled with 3 lenders!"
"Hardest place to work with. They're garnishing my wages for student loans. I've been working with them, made my payments, signed and returned documents and they are still garnishing my wages a month after they said it would stop! Every time I call I'm told another story. They need more documents or the ones I sent weren't good enough. Today I was told they'd have a supervisor call me back and it never happened! I understand they are a debt collector and they have a job to do but they can't do this to people. I'm sure they're paid well for all the student loan money they're taking in, they need to think about how they treat people before that contract gets canceled and another agency gets it. Update, they can have their $5 a month! I will stop the garnishment on my own. I refuse to speak with them or file anymore paperwork with them. I have called the dept. Of education directly to complain and get the garnishment stopped. And I will continue to file complaints with them until my account is given to another collection agency."
