"For over a decade, I've had an account with this credit union with nearly no issues. Recently, they changed their banking website. Not only is it a complete overhaul, but I can't even see an overview of my accounts the way I could on the old site. This new site looks like an app which looks unprofessional and it shows my total account balance in LARGE numbers, it includes trends that I don't want to see and can't hide, and is no longer easy to see my information that I'm looking for right where I need it. They should have stuck with the old website and made a few tweaks instead of completely renovating to the current abomination. It's such an atrocity that I'm considering a switch to a bank that I can easily navigate and see my bank information that I need to review, not what is forced on me to view."
"This company is not what it once was. Customer service has tanked and it seems like management just doesn't care. Issues that should be quickly resolved (credit disputes, overpayments, paying off loans in advance) require multiple phone calls or showing up in person (fun stuff in a covid environment) just to be resolved. 24/7 support is also unavailable meaning your emergency has to wait until the next day. While it seems if you post a poor review someone from marketing will reach out to help rectify the situation, it's unfortunate that it even has to get to that point. I've closed out my account and opened one with Pawtucket. I've heard good things about Navigant as well. TL:DR: They're fine until there's a problem but there are better banks to support and bring your business to."
"I made an over payment and have been going back and forth with them for well over a month to get my money back. First they said they have no record of the payment so I got a trace from my bank and all of a sudden they saw it and tell me the check had been sent out and I should have received it. Since I had not received it they cancelled it and were going to resend it. On the phone with them again and the representative says she has no record of it. I would not recommend using First Citizens Federal Credit union for an auto loan if you do not bank with them. They also made making additional payment on your loan near impossible and charge outrageous fees to pay them."
"I had a really pleasant phonecall experience with chelsea I think her name was. I was on my work break which was only 15 minutes. She worked very fast to help me with my situation. And she was very kind, & helpful with a very blooming positve personality. I love encounters like that. You could tell she truley cares about people and her job. I hope she gets to see this review"
"Update: The team reimbursed my late fee’s and handed over my title. It’s too bad I had to post a review to get a response but appreciate they took the time to follow up and make it right. Not all companies will do that. Had an auto loan with them. Paid on time for nearly 5 years when all of a sudden they stopped auto withdrawals. I tried calling but was placed on a 50 minute hold! I finally went online and decided to set up an account to pay off my loan. I then get a bill in the mail for a $5 late fee. I called twice to try and get it rectified (they said a third party set up the auto withdrawal and the date ended???) they denied my dispute. I was really disappointed with their decision and will never go through them again. After paying on time for so long, this was an obvious clerical error I had no control over."
