"I opened a business account at the Smithfield branch with Ashley's help today. I am very appreciative of her patience and impressed with her attention to detail. She was also empathetic and helpful a couple of months ago when I had an issue with fraud related to my personal checking account. One of the supervisors at the branch assisted Ashley with my new business acct today and she was great as well."

"Absolute garbage. Was much better as 'Pawtucket Credit Union'. Ever since the switch they've added bogus "convenience fees" to their automated payment services, and the service itself is somehow even worse. It is painful and time-consuming to use. Their website barely functions and, as mentioned by other reviewers here, doesn't even give you any additional information on your loan regarding remaining balance, interest rate, etc. Would give them negative stars if I could."

"Thieves at its best. I’ve had many car loans before, but nothing compares to the incompetence and lack of professionalism from this firm. They have charges I’ve never seen before on a car loan, and it seems that every time I make a payment my principal doesn’t get much from the monthly bill. I didn’t last with these pirates more than a month after seeing half of my payments going to their nonsense charges. Avoid these people and save yourself problems and money."

"At the age of 50 obviously, I had multiple loans I had lost my job for almost 3 months and have not had any income the dealer that I bought my car from a year ago set me up with coastal credit Union I’m easy I’d like to set up automatic withdrawals, and I’d always know that I have enough money, but losing my job and not having any income for almost 3 months. I called them to see if they could work with me and defer one payment and then by the following month I would be all set because I know I would land a job which I did anyways. the first representative was nice. He told me be like a $20 charge. I received the paperwork I call back to set everything up. The second rep told me it’s $80 I’m like I just told him that I lost my job and I have no income please could you try to work with me just to defer one payment . The answer I got was straight out NO! Anyways, I tried calling back because I did make a payment and I also made another payment that automatically came out but I was still behind one payment just so they could see that I kept my word and still the answers was NO the lady is like well we are working with you it’s just gonna cost you $80 no working with me is actually helping me get back on my feet. That’s the true meaning of credit unions and local banks, I must say I give them an F just like Wells Fargo I do recommend people to use Bank of America and capital one for your loans"

"Been a PCU customer for over 30 years. Have NEVER had any of the issues that people are talking about. Online banking is fine, customer service has been nothing but excellent, and people in the branch are super friendly and helpful. I have my mortgage, and my day to day banking here. I recommend it to everyone."
