"Our family owes a big debt of gratitude to Swerling Milton Winneck. Making the decision to hire this private adjuster was the best thing we did in a moment of crisis when our house was struck by lightening on July 7, 2021. This company was a beacon of light during a time of great darkness and sorrow for my family for 2 whole years. We were in a state of shock the night our house caught on fire. I have vivid memories of my wife and my three teenage children standing outside on our driveway staring up at our roof and wondering if the firefighters would be able to save out house. The firefighters where able to save our home from a structural standpoint, but we had two floors with severe smoke damage and 3 floors with water damage. Our home was unlivable. Dayle was extremely detailed and thorough when she came over to catalog every single item that was effected by the smoke and water. I don't know how she did it that way , but she was unbelievable. She followed up and put in hours and hours of work on our claim to make sure we received the best possible outcome. Ross was also extremely detailed and very knowledgeable about the building and structural part of our claim. He went to bat for us and got us the best possible result. "I wish nobody goes thru a fire loss, but if you are looking at this review then something has happened. Sorry for your loss! Don't worry you will be fine! In Oct/2022, I had to deal with fire, among all the stress it was the best decision to speak with Adam and heir SMW. During the first meeting Adam, answered all my questions, explained the claims process, and the stress significantly reduced! Adam and Ricky did a phenomenal job on the "worksheet", I was floored with level of details that they put in it. Adam has his client's interest above all, very realistic, no pressure!! "Terrible company. I wish I had fired them like one of the other one star reviewers. Absolutely not worth it, does not relieve a stressful situation, will not be your advocate and will not be in it for the long haul. I can only believe the higher reviews are fake or for some kind of relatively small service. Mine was a very large claim and i walked away wondering why this company even exists. the response is untrue, the claim was for a house which burned down and unfortunately we were a client."
