"Caras has wonderful, caring and helpful people. Thanks Caras. Over the years, my experience with Caras has been incredible, despite not always being the best customer. They've had to call me several times to gently remind me to take certain actions. Most recently, I traded in my vehicle, which was insured through Caras, without notifying them. Remarkably, Caras refunded months of my insurance, totaling over $1,000, due to my own oversight. They were delighted to help. These people are amazing, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone."

"This insurance agency has been wildly unprofessional and irresponsible. Bought a new car and was supposed to be added as a driver to the new policy, after multiple back and forth phone calls, was given a policy that was reasonable but wanted over $1000 up front. We obliged, getting a check to our agent Denise as quickly as possible to start coverage. Weeks later we get a bill in the mail asking for $1700 more dollars up front, and our policy is thousands of dollars more than what was told to us by our agent, who happened to go on vacation and was unreachable that week. No one else at Caras could come up with a reason for the discrepancy in price and could not help us, so we switched to Geico and chose to just pay the policy (which was much, much more reasonable) up front. They sent over all the information to Caras, and we have been waiting for weeks on a refund of our deposit. Called today to check on the status of things, and we are met with a lot of attitude from the agent Denise whom we gave the $1000 check to. She claims she can't guarantee we can get our money back and tries giving us the runaround. Also claiming they didn't get the information sent over by Geico showing we had new coverage. Geico confirmed all information was sent over weeks ago, and just to be sure, sent it all over again. This has been the worst experience with an insurance agent I have ever dealt with. Not only was the policy thousands more than we agreed to, but it was with an entirely different company than we were told it was going to be through. We are still waiting on a refund of our deposit and it has been weeks. I do not recommend this agency, and I would be careful about giving them money up front since apparently all the important details of the policy - like the price and the insurance carrier - can change without your knowledge."
