"Update: I have now cancelled my auto insurance with them. My new company sent me cards without asking for free, and their annual rate is half of what Amica charged. They wouldn't mail me my insurance cards because they said I was on e-statements. It cost 50 cents to mail them, but I pay them 1200 in premiums a year. I have cancelled one of my policies because of this. And if this continues on my next renewal more policies with be cancelled. They are losing hundreds in premiums over being cheap about 50 cents. They also refuse to reply to multiple emails. I had to file a BBB complaint just to get them to respond."
"Never been more satisfied with an insurance company. The level of customer service is outstanding, superior to anything I've ever experienced. The company is owned by us, the policyholders. Smart!! This translates to lower rates, and the distribution of dividends (typically, never a guarantee!) at year's end. When I have had either an auto or a home claim, they have been paid quickly without problems or arguments. Their online presence is fantastic, their mobile app is seamless. Intuitive, bug-free. I can one million percent recommend Amica to you for insuring your car and home!"
"After having Amica for nearly 27 years of home life and auto coverage, I am starting to feel similar to what is being said here about their degraded customer experience. They may not be the company they once were based on my current dealings on auto, life and home owner insurance and it appears to be a serious disregard for customer service. All issues seem to be centered on rules, red-tape and inefficiency impacting customer service. This was once an Amica strength, it appears that the organization has lost its way. Sad. 5/27 Update- They are quick to respond here on Google....... but nobody has reached out so this is more smoke and mirrors. I am a 27 year multi policy customer. I believe I've been fair and patient by waiting two weeks for someone from this organization to reach out especially due to the magnitude of the problems. NOTHING BUT CRICKETS. My wife GAVE THEM ONE LAST chance and called them today for at least the 10th time regarding Home owners insurance. Typical hands off call center bad service. All I can say is that the execution and customer service is so horrendous that my wife is now in the same place I was about 2 months ago. She was more patient because her parents were Amica customers and thought the company deserved a chance to fix the problems. They will be losing our business after 27 years.....auto, life and home. This is not the same company I contracted with 27 years ago, they have indeed lost their way. I'll also add that my policies have done nothing but improve their combined ratios for 27 years. For the non insurance folks out there, I've had zero claims. This is how great customers get treated in Amica's new organization. Sad. The story here is so bad that I am left to wonder how in the world this company maintains top ranking for customer service? Pay attention to those you entrust to have your best interests in mind, it's not Amica Mutual Insurance Company for sure. 7/17 No one from Amica has reached out to us."
"they used to be a great company-i had been with them 20 years and they had my umbrella, boat, car and homeowners. I fired them today, I finally had a claim that I was not at fault and their claim service was horrible. Amica was my biggest monthly personal expenditure. I switched to USAA and saved a great deal and they are ranked number one for customer service"

The premiums are very competitive, their staff is very attentive and quick to help, friendly and understanding. Their agents actually seem to care when they speak with you about case. I never had this type of customer service before. They are great at what they do. Thank you!!!!"
