Haddad's Ocean Cafe

"This was our first seafood stop on our trip to the area and we truly enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant. I appreciated the casual environment and the view outside. The fried shrimp were an A+ in my book but the rest of our meals fell a little flat. Flavor was lacking it maybe it’s just because I’m from the south where everything is kicked up a notch. Service was slow but pleasant and one of our meals came out completely incorrect which was rectified, but slowly. These are the reasons for 4 vs 5 star review. Parking was plentiful for the area and the outdoor patio seemed inviting (I burn easy and the sun was not being blocked by the umbrellas so opted for indoor seating). Overall I would suggest this restaurant to friends to try at least once."

"Sat on the rooftop. Near the ocean and great atmosphere. Had great Duxbury oysters. Subpar old fashioned drink. Didn't receive my clam chowder. I thought the lobster roll and baked haddock were ok at best."

"This restaurant is in a nice location near the ocean. The inside is very nice as well. Stopped in here for lunch and had the chicken parmesan. It could have been good, except it was plated in a puddle of water (see pics). It look like they didn't strain the pasta and it ended up making the chicken very soggy. Also, there were several flies buzzing around interrupting the meal. One person that was with me is typically very picky about their food and they got the lobster roll. At $32 it was quite pricey but they enjoyed it and making them happy isn't easy to do."

"The service is awesome! We went today for the $1 dollar oysters and they were packed! We didn’t make a reservation, but they put us on the waiting list and we barely had to wait. Once we got there after receiving the text that our table was ready, we were sat right away. Despite that fact of the packed restaurant, that didn’t stop our server to make an excellent job. She came right after we sat, took our oyster and drinks order and it came right away. The oysters were perfect size! Not too small not too big. One thing we wished was that they had hot sauce on the table like the salt and pepper and ketchup. Our server, I believe her name was Emily, checked on us appropriately; the right amount of time. After taking our dinner order, we didn’t have to wait too long for our dishes to be on our table. They came warm and very well presented. Most importantly, our dinner was delightful delicious!
