"Service was prompt but prices in my opinion are very unreasonable. They marked up UPS shipping approximately 60% over UPS published retail price. I'm sure they don't even pay UPS retail because of their volume so who knows how much they actually marked it up. I understand rent, employees, benefits, etc cost money, but in my opinion their services are too high overall."
"Used them for a full house move last month, and they were extremely easy to work with. The owner answered all of my questions, and even suggested that they re-pack some of the boxes my wife and I had pre-packed, explaining that in transit the carrier pays no mind to fragile boxes. What a tip! I was so thankful that he did, because everything arrived safely, and in hindsight I'm sure would've broken if we didn't trust him. It's clear that they know this business. The shippers' shippers. I recommended them very recently to an aunt who deals in paintings, and she's been just as satisfied. She told me they have a great reputation in the art community as well. "The moving company New England Pack & Ship and the people working at New England Pack & Ship (hereinafter their workers) don’t care about the cleanliness of your items and they open and repackage your items randomly without your permission. I noticed that many of my items were randomly opened and repackaged without my permission. So I emailed their company, asking why. The head of this company Brian Bishop responded saying that they need to make sure things are stable. First of all, my items were already in stable condition. Also, there are many good ways to keep things stable, and none of them is throwing not so clean items over clean and expensive items, especially when they don’t have my permission to do so. I further explained the situation, there were no responses. I had to call them. Brian eventually answered the call and made false claims about my apartment, and he even swore at me. To be more specific, I have never given anyone any permission to open my boxes at any time and I have never given anyone any permission to repackage any of my items at any time. It’s an invasion of my privacy to open my boxes. I packed all my items in ways that I wanted because they should be packed in these ways. I have many clean items and also many expensive equipments that I meant to pack separately to avoid contamination, and I specifically put the items that are not so clean in separate boxes. But people at New England Pack & Ship repackaged all these items in ways that were different and, as a matter of fact, the exact ways that I am trying to avoid. For example, there was a dirty outer box for a shoe box that they throw into a big box and the shoe box was placed on top of the clean keyboard, my hard drives and clothes that I had, right next to it is my computer and a pop filter. That was a big box that I already sealed and you opened it and you repackaged it in a way that’s different from what I intended. Also, I later found out that the bag of the hard drives was already opened, and I have no idea what they have done to my items. In addition, I specifically put my tripods in separate boxes because these tripods were dragged on the ground and therefore not so clean. Therefore I specifically put them in a separate box. But their workers just throw them on top of other clean items that I have. Furthermore, I specifically put my power extensions in separate boxes because these power extensions were placed on the floor and therefore not so clean. But their workers placed them in the same box as my expensive microphones. Also I meant to keep my microphones in the cover and not in the box but their workers took them out of the cover and put them into the box without my permission. I took some more pictures. As you can see in the attachments below. Their workers also took apart my shoe racks and repackaged my shoes and shoeboxes without my permission. There are even stains, dirty marks and shoe prints on some of my items and some of the boxes. These are just some of the examples that I have noticed so far. I feel very disappointed, disturbed and disgusted by the way that their workers handled my items. A lot of these expensive equipments are supposed to be kept in clean environment, which is why I separate them specifically. Now I have to buy many new items because New England Pack & Ship ruined them, and I already bought some new items. New England Pack & Ship offers the worst service. Stay away!"
"All these 5 star reviews are definitely fake. I trusted these people with delivering my things because we made a big move. It was more than expected bc we ended up having more than what i planned. I still paid in full, yes i should have bought insurance but i did not and that was my bad. But just bc i did not purchase insurance, you would think they should still handle our things with care. They cliam to not have touched or opened my boxes i packed already, yet all my boxes did not arrive and everything was repackaged into their own boxes and supplies. They cliamed it was packed like that already from me. Which is not true, bc i used egg cartons boxes with red labels and none of those boxes arrived. They took everything out of my own boxes, mixed everything with anything. Food with personal belongings, dog stuff with personal belongings. Food which spilled all over the boxes over our personal belongings. Now in whos mind would ever pack food with personal belongings? Def not me! I packed all food with food and personal things with other personal things. All my things were threw in to whatever box, no matter what it was. I had broken plates, broken cups, plugs for our tv and stand was missing. Things were also taken apart without my knowledge. I been emailing the "owner" brian back and forth and showed proof that what i received was definitely not how it was sent to them, yet they like to play the blame game and say it was all on me. Everything happened bc i packed it like that. Which is completely BS! So unprofessional. The owner definitely did not care about what i had to say, only bc i did not purchase insurance. Either way i still paid in full and not installments, in full and it was not cheap. All they care about is the money. I guess even $20 dollars was even too much to ask for since they lost one of our tv plugs too that they said they will reimburse me back for. I guess they obviously need that more than me. They definitely dont want to take any responsibility for any of their actions."
