"I was with my friend (who works in retail), and she dumped her coffee (halfway full) into the sink in the bathroom because she didn’t want to throw it in the trash (since the coffee would have spilt in the trash and got all over the floor) and 3 workers screamed at her and embarrassed her about doing so. This is no way to treat a costumer especially when she had no malicious intentions. If the workers were frustrated with her decision they should not have screamed at her like she was a child 3 separate times."
"Wasn’t my best GoodWill experience. I’m a bit hard of hearing and had an employee scream at me to move when I guess I didn’t hear them the first few times. I suppose simply tapping me on the shoulder was out of the question. The cashier also wasn’t very nice either. All I did during my visit was walk around quietly and try to stay out of the way. I had just come from having a painful procedure done at the doctor’s and it just made my day a lot worse. However, right next door is a sweet little gift shop with wonderful associates that really brightened my day. I’d suggest visiting there instead!"
"The man who is often running the cash register is abrasive and should not be in a forward facing role. In my time in the store he stereotyped and harassed Spanish speaking customers, and picked up the items from my cart, including my personal items (car keys, earbuds, shopping bag, etc) and threw them on the ground because he believed it was an abandoned cart. It was a very frightening experience. He also wanders the store muttering profanities, making me wonder if there are mental health issues. At the very least this individual should be assigned to the backroom/sorting and should not be permitted to engage with customers."
"Big space with lots of men and women's used clothing. The person at the register had a bit of a prickly side that made for an unpleasant experience, but the manager was fine and helpful. Parking can be hard on a Saturday but fine on sundays, and the store is open! (Rare goodwill open on Sundays these days in boston!) no exchange no trying on no returns."
"Good store with good deals. Got a pair of Under Armour work pants in here for cheap. All thrift stores have a deal or two. I like this a lot more than Boomerangs nearby."
