Berkshire Trips

"I set up transportation from New York to North Adams,Ma in June for my return from my December cruise. I try to use local businesses. I chose Berkshire Trips, so I called and set it up in June .Plenty of time right? I called the week before to confirm and Michael the owner seemed to not know what I was talking about, but assured me someone would pick us up. Michael came to the Pier and picked us up. He had a car he rented from Hertz. We started out of the city and twice he almost went into another lane and people were beeping at him. We went on to Taconic Parkway. The driver almost went off the road twice and my husband had to yell at him to get back on the road. We stopped for coffee which I hoped would help. We were driving with the window open which I was freezing to death. We got back on the road and again he kept swerving and going off the road. I asked him to pull over and I drove the rest of the way home. He blamed the car but I drove home fine. For 347.00 I didn't expect to drive home,but I was actually scared for my life.Someone could have been seriously hurt if not killed. I will not be using them in the future and can not recommend this service to anyone."

I was nervous about my doctors appointment and my driver Michael was not only professional and pleasant, but he made me feel relaxed and calm making the day alittle more bearable. "Don’t hire this company. They were 40 minutes late, drove us in the wrong direction, and for whatever reason Michael showed up on foot and didn’t seem sober before getting into the car with a second driver. It was honestly scary. Michael also kept telling us it was Friday (it was Saturday) and telling us he was taking us on a route that would avoid traffic from a concert. I had to take over and assertively tell the them to take us in the right directions because I could see on google maps they were delaying us even more. We googled the concert Michael was telling us caused the delay in pickup and there wasn’t a concert that night or traffic. Besides how unsettling all of this was, we actually missed our event & had to find a stranger to take us home because of how uncomfortable we felt with this service. Can’t stress enough how unsafe we felt, and how unprofessional this was."
