"I recently visited the Goodwill location in Salem NH, and I was extremely disappointed with the service I received. I was interested in purchasing a bundle learning system that included 2 DVDs and 2 books. However, the manager separated the bundle into two, which caused a pricing error. When I brought this to their attention, they did not honor the original price and kept me waiting while a line formed behind me. I was extremely frustrated with the situation and felt that the staff was not helpful or accommodating. I would not recommend this store to anyone and suggest visiting the Hudson NH store instead, which has great customer service and is not biased."
"One star for having two colors of tag on sale and good cleanliness. Minus four stars for abysmal selection in every department and breathtakingly overpriced everything. $11 for a worn pair of walmart jeans, $20 for a pair of used shoes. "Handpicked" section $40/pair of very worn dated heels, $60 for a pair of jeans. This store is practically empty and was a waste of time 100%."
"Love shopping here, have gotten some nice items for my home and Grandchild, that look brand new. Also a vacuum that I love and use often, and a pretty chair for my bedroom that I use everyday. Those are just a few of the items that I enjoy. I Look forward to the treasure hunt every week, I find it to be my simple pleasure that I enjoy.. I have been going to this goodwill for a couple of years and always find the staff very friendly and pleasant to deal with. I like that they give you fourteen days to return an item and give you a store credit for the amount of the item you are returning as long as you have your receipt and the tag is still on the item which I think is very fair. I do not think salvation army gives you any window for returns. They also give you 20% off on Tuesdays if you are a senior ,off your total purchase, except new items, those items you have to always pay full price. Give it a try, I think you will enjoy this store."
"Last night I was driving down the road and couldn't help but pull in and check this place out. I had never been in a Goodwill store and I was on a spontaneous overnight trip from MA, so I figured why not? The store was 100% different than what I had imagined. I thought it was just a place for clothes but I couldn't have been more wrong! The store was big and was very organized. The woman who was working was so sweet, and helped me pick out my first pair of Crocs! I had wanted them for a while and happened to stumble upon a whole row of different colors and styles. I am in love. I have been wearing them all day. I finally understand why people love Crocs so much. They are sooo comfortable! I definitely would have bought more items if I hadn't stopped in 15 minutes before closing time. I will be coming back for sure."
"Great variety and I actually found a perfect desk! However the staff seemed to have a problem with keeping prices on things. I was sent to the backroom to talk to the boss about pricing on an item. When I finally got back in line, a customer ahead of me had shoes with no price tag, and I had to wait on that. The experience took way longer than it should have."
