"My wife and I were referred to Mr. Gaudreau because we are pursuing filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. We reviewed our financial situation with him, and the more information we gave him, the more annoyed he seemed to get with us. He said that in his opinion, it looked like even bankruptcy would not completely solve our cash flow problems. He told us that his fee for doing the bankruptcy was $2,200 and questioned how we would ever be able to pay him for his services. It got to the point that he got so annoyed and tired of speaking with us, that he told us that he had another appointment to attend to, even though no-one else was in his office at the time. So, he ubruptly ended the consultation. He told us that he would review our case and would notify us of his decision as to whether or not he would take our case. It has now been 2 weeks and we have not heard from him. Nor have we received anything in writing from him. As far as I am concerned, we WILL NOT choose him to be our attorney. I highly recommend that if you are looking for a good attorney, stay clear of Richard D. Gaudreau. He IS NOT a good attorney. He is very unprofessional and not trustworthy. He is cold and uncaring. All he cares about is making sure he gets paid for his services. If I could, I would have given him zero (0) stars for a rating. He's that bad. Update: As of this writing (11/29/22), over 3 months have passed and Gaudreau has NEVER bothered to contact us in any way, shape manor or form. Richard D.
