"OUTRAGEOUS PRICES!! I called about my wedding dress being cleaned and preserved. The reviews seemed fine but when I called I was told a horrific price. The other places I called said it was between $300-350 and took about 2-3 weeks to get done. And that price included cleaning and preservation. When I called Lapels, I was told they were separate prices. I was first asked if my dress was simple, not many layers, or big, like a ball gown. I have a ball gown so it costs more. For cleaning it would cost $352.50 for my gown, $105.90 for my veil and because my dress has a long train, an extra $103.25 which makes no sense. Then for the preservation it would cost $493.50 for my gown, $105.90 again for my veil and that extra charge of $105.25 for the fact that I have a long train. Now I was also told that if I was a member I could get 20% off but that still would make it cost so incredibly much. I just don’t understand how these prices make sense and how it costs over $1000 to get my dress cleaned and preserved. It costs almost as much as my dress cost when I purchased it! It just seems like they don’t actually want to clean or preserve wedding dresses with how outrageous these prices are. Glad I called."

"I was so pleased with the experience I had at this place! The prices seemed fair seeing as there was a lot more work to do with my coat I dropped off than I had originally thought. The woman at the front who was still learning everything really was so great! Friendly and genuine!! This company is lucky to have such a great person behind their counter!
