"** update 2023** They have not once cleaned the floors and the doors are as dirty as ever. ( see new pics) This place has so much potential to be great but owners dont care and are so hands off everything is disgusting. Please for Pete's sake just hire a professional cleaner once a year for a deep clean. Even if you do it once this place NEEDS it. There are broken down arcade games, spiders in the corners and laundry carts with so much hair on wheels some don't roll right. Some of the machine have major staining. I hope to heck they clean the lint traps because this laundrymatt Is connected to other businesses. Convenient location, never have to wait to use things. Now let's get into the cons. *1 Exteremly dirty. The entrance way doors I don't think have been wiped down once since I started using this laundromat 2 years ago! That's a health issue. People are going in and out with their hands on Their dirty laundry! Now Ive worked for cleaning facilitys so I notice dirt and grime and I'd be surprised if this place was ever mopped besides a spilled area. The laundromat I used in South Hadley, the owners were in there every day wiping down the machines! I just don't see Sunderland suds doing any cleaning of the place besides trash. Which also overflows and stinks sometimes. *2 machines have broken down WHILE using them not once but twice. Two different machines. One squealed and rocked back and forth, the other lost its ability to drain the water. I had to pay again just to get to a rinse cycle! My clothes were soaked obviously your pulling them out of a mini soap tub. so they got more money for their broken Machine. They are the cheapest place around for about a half hour drive to so I'm stuck using them. I really hope they see this and sanatize thier laundromat."
"I never had a problem until recently, I went to do my laundry as well as my 6 month old sons in a separate washing machine. I use the top loader for him being as his clothes aren’t as big and they fit perfectly in there, on this particular day I left because I live across the street as I usually do. When I come back to switch the laundry I see time still remaining on his machine which didn’t make sense because I set an alarm to switch everything over. I opened up the machine and notice that these clothes aren’t my sons, I look to the side and on the table is my 6 MONTH OLDS clothes! As I further look I noticed that both machines on opposite sides of the one I was using is empty, to further this if you walk a few steps to the back of the laundry mat they have the same machines which none where being used. The reason for 3 stars is I’m a regular customer and never having this issue before I didn’t think I needed to worry about someone touching my child’s clothes, yes I do leave and come back BUT, I come back for the time it says on the machine. The laundry mat has no rule or number pertaining to this situation which I think should be addressed for reasons such as infectious diseases going around ETC! Hopefully this never happens to anyone else’s child’s clothes!"
"This place has gone downhill the last few months. It used to be clean and efficient. Now several dryers have card readers that don't work, last week I had to try 6 different dryers to find 3 with a working card reader. Even worse than that though are all the dryers with working card readers that don't actually dry your clothes, even on the highest setting, letting you waste a bunch of time and money, I've definitely wasted at least $20 on machines that don't work in the last few months. Today I tried using a washing machine, it seemed like it was working, I left to do some grocery shopping, and came back to a pile of dry clothes - it had never actually turned on despite taking my money. Today was also the last day I'll use Sunderland Suds until something is done about the state of their machines."
"Wonderful place. Long hours allow you to do laundry around your schedule. Excellent ratio of dryers to washers, so you aren't left waiting for a dryer with a lot of wet laundry."
"Nicer laundry mat with google pay as an option rather than quarters. Makes in easier to use than having to use a ton of a quarters. Large laundry mat with lots of available washer and dryers. They also have available favric softeners erc for purchase if you forget yours."
