"A Disappointing Experience with Merry Maids in 2023 As a commercial client, we regretfully had to terminate our contract with Merry Maids due to a disappointing experience. Initially, Merry Maids seemed like a reasonable choice for maintaining our three offices, but the quality of their service rapidly deteriorated. The cleaners progressively cut corners, neglecting hidden messes, dust, and unclean areas behind furniture and in less noticeable corners, only addressing what was plainly visible. Dissatisfied with the situation, we approached Merry Maids for a solution. In response, they sent Lori Hailson to assess the situation, and her explanation left us astounded. After walking through and observing the areas that had been neglected, Lori informed us that their cleaners had taken offense to some of our office employees. As a result, they were only willing to offer subpar cleaning. This revelation was both unexpected and unacceptable. To clarify, there were no prior incidents, and interactions between the cleaners and our staff were limited. Our employees would greet them, but the cleaners did not seem to respond. In the world of business, maintaining a clean and professional environment is crucial. Choosing a reliable cleaning service is key to upholding this standard. In light of our experience, we strongly encourage others to reconsider booking Merry Maids for their cleaning needs. "I hired Merry Maids for a move-in deep cleaning - a $500+ service. None of the services I requested were completed - floors, baseboards, windows, fridge and oven are just as dirty as they were before the cleaning. They washed some of the walls, which I only know because they let dirty water drip down and dry on the walls of my bedroom. They “don’t give refunds, just re-cleanings”. I will not be scheduling that re-cleaning, because I have no reason to believe they would do a better job the second time around."
