Reviews
"It's a shame that there's no view. Once every year or two MWRA has an open house, where you can climb the stairs inside the stone tower and get a look from the top. Dog walkers enjoy the park, I'm told."
"This is a great spot to walk in the morning with a cup of coffee. Spring time in Boston is amazing."
"Great spot for the kids and dog-walking. The Kennedy path off Bellevue Hill Road is fun for the kids; good sledding down the eastern slope, with views of the skyline."
"A bit of a creepy vibe...it was a dark and grey afternoon in winter. I don't think I'd go there as a single female with no dog, although we did see a female jogger..."
"Highest point (not counting some buildings, perhaps) in the City of Boston (~330 feet). Limited views, but the loop around the two water towers (one active and one just historic) is a nice, relaxing walk after climbing up that hill. Once or twice a year, the older water tower is opened to allow visitors to climb to the roof/top deck. This also gives glimpses into the superstructure of the water tower itself, including an inner-wall hugging curved staircase. No, you are not expected to swim to the top."
