Newton Hill

"Nice place to watch the ballet in the rotary . Most drivers are aware of the courtesies of the rotary . Every once in awhile someone has a lack of knowledge or is just rude and you'll hear horns blaring , see middle fingers aplenty . Oh and an occasional accident ."

"Beautiful hiking. Though be very careful with your dogs on the trails. There is a lot of broken bottles from young people partying at night. Police on horseback do patrol but definitely not enough at night."

"Newton Hill is an overlooked gem in the city. It is part of Elm Park, oldest public park in the U.S.. There are hiking trails that circle the hill and others that reach the summit. There's a clearing up there with stone benches and a flagpole. Once the leaves have fallen there might be some views but otherwise the trees block the view. There is also a disc golf course on the hill if you are keen on that activity. I highly recommend this spot for a nice walk in the woods while never leaving the city."
