Old Harbor Park
About the Business
Old Harbor Park is a beautiful and well-maintained park located on Oyster Bay Road in Boston, Massachusetts. As a popular tourist attraction, the park offers clean, green, safe, and accessible open space for visitors to enjoy. Covering over 2,300 acres of park land, Old Harbor Park is just one of the 217 City parks managed by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department. In addition to parks, the department oversees playgrounds, athletic fields, golf courses, squares, fountains, game courts, cemeteries, urban wilds, and street trees throughout the city.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Tree Removal and Parks and Recreation Commission hearings are being held online for the safety of all participants. Mayor Michelle Wu and the Boston Parks and Recreation Department are excited to announce that the Boston Swan Boats will open for the 2024 season at the Boston Public Garden lagoon, a popular attraction within the city.
Old Harbor Park is part of a 1,100-acre chain of nine parks connected by parkways and waterways, providing ample opportunities for outdoor recreation and relaxation. The park also manages three active cemeteries and 16 burying grounds in Boston, ensuring the preservation of historical sites within the city.
If you are interested in removing a healthy tree within the park, a public hearing is required to discuss the matter. Visit Old Harbor Park to experience the beauty of nature and the rich history of Boston's green spaces.
