"Very peaceful place on weekends."
"Micozzi Beach in Billerica emerges as a charming oasis amid the sweltering July heat, a beacon of relaxation and fun in the heart of our bustling town. It offers not just a refreshing escape but a range of amenities that make for an enjoyable outing. The beach itself is well-maintained, embodying the quintessential New England charm. As soon as your feet sink into the sand, you'll feel transported to a vacation spot, right here in our own backyard. The proximity to home and the ease of access only add to its allure. One of the shining features of Micozzi Beach is its facilities. With clean bathrooms and an outdoor shower, it ensures all your needs are covered during your beach visit. The beach also provides courts for both volleyball and basketball - a fantastic addition for those looking to add a dose of friendly competition to their beach day (reservations needed)! Now, to address the elephant in the room - the water does exhibit a yellow tint, but don't let that discourage you. It's still an inviting place to cool down on those hot summer days. Of course, water quality is subjective, and while some might be deterred by this, many find it a minor detail against the larger backdrop of what Micozzi Beach offers. Do not forget to pack your sunscreen! Btw the beach closes at 5 PM"
"So beautiful and peaceful by the lake.. Been going there for years (52)"
"place to fish, not to swim. The history of this lake as a dumping ground isnt lit, and the amount of mosquitos is probably gonna make you hiv positive."
"Alot of children from a day camp while on our visit ..not enough adult supervision. Other then that it is a nice place , well maintained place ."
