Reviews
"When I went to this wildlife sanctuary I had a great time looking at nature and wildlife. I walked through the field and really took in all the pretty nature. I noticed that there are many different types of birds to see while walking. The field in my picture has some birds nests and is very pretty in the spring/summertime. You can walk down to the lookout near the water to get a full view and smell of the ocean. If you like the sound of birds chirping and pretty scenery I would definitely recommend going to North River Wildlife Sanctuary for a time to get to back to nature."
"Beautiful location. There's are Osprey that nest regularly on a pillar in a big open field and a bald eagle nesting on the far side of the water, bring good binoculars and you've got a good chance to spot it."
"Lovely place to walk, birdwatch, take photos and nature hike. Be aware: this is prime tick habitat during the season, so take precautions."
"Beautiful little sanctuary with a variety of habitats! The ospreys we're very active and cool to watch. Lots of other birds and Monarch butterflies. Great pollinator garden and meadows."
"Buildings closed to pandemic, but trails wide open and didn't see anyone else on a weekend that was super busy at the beaches. Saw a large number of birds. Osprey nesting in the field. Telescope set up to look at them, though recommend bringing your own spotting scope or binoculars, too. Bring bug spray; mosquitos and ticks are around (July 2020). Lots of solar panels right at the start of the trail. Two electric vehicle parking spots. Makes a great spot to park and charge while hiking around. Thanks, Mass Audubon, for a great site!"
