"Some of the parking lots need a lot of attention. There are several large holes. I caught my bumper and my bumper lining ripped off. That being said, the paths are well maintained and well marked. I had a great afternoon."

"Leominster State Forest is an excellent place to hike, bike, swim and rock climb. I have been here many times over the years. The highlights of the forest for me are the hike over the Crow Hills, the hike to Rocky Pond and taking a swim at the beach on Crow Hills Pond. There are multiple parking areas off of Rt. 31 plus a big one for the beach. I'm not sure what the price is to use the beach. Also the Crow Hills is a premier rock climbing spot that requires you get a permit at the St. Forest headquarters. I highly recommend this forest for locals or folks who are visiting the region."
