"Beautiful views and interesting history of the old Town of Enfield MA"
"Such a gorgeous place to visit. It's really amazing just how large is Quabbin reservoir. The visiting & viewing areas have bench seats & picnic tables. The access roads are well marked & nicely maintained. It is a shame that so many people & businesses had to relocate all those years ago to create the reservoir. Hopefully, they were able to create a satisfying new home & life wherever they moved."
"A very beautiful overlook at the Quabbin Reservoir. It is one of my favorite views in Massachusetts. The views of the mountains and the reservoir itself are amazing. The history here is also very cool. There is a sign that discusses the history of the towns that used to be where the current Quabbin Reservoir is."
"The tree line has grown a bit taller since we first visited years ago, so the reservoir view of the former Enfield is a bit obscured. You’ll get a better look in the fall when the leaves are off the trees. The large hill in Enfield is still clearly visible and it’s a good view of this section of the Quabbin. Located between the Observation Tower area and the Goodnough Dike it’s easy to find and there’s generally enough parking even on a summer afternoon."
"Such a beautiful spot for a picnic on one of many tables to choose from. We ventured up to the Tower but it was closed for renovations. We saw several people hiking in the area also"
