"Great place to walk! The lake provides a nice breeze, so I'd bring a warm coat during the colder months of the year. The only real downside is that the park can get a bit dirty, and is pretty noisy and crowded during the summer."

"We had a blast here. It's perfect for my family. Close to home only downfall is it's small and cant have a ton of people on the beach"

"Off season its a great place to take the dog for a swim. But peak season its a horrible place for people swimming. I tried to go for a swim on a cloudy day, no one was at the beach so the lifeguard was bored and would not allow me to go outside the children area. I went over to the boat launch and she followed me and blew her whistle anytime my feet touched the water. I'm an experienced swimmer and understand that I swim at my own risk if I'm out of designated children area but she was yelling and screaming and blowing her whistle so aggressively that I felt that she'd steal my shoes and towel if just ignored her."

"It actually really nice here. New bath house plenty of room n large grass areas where ypu can grill. But need own grills"
