Reviews of Lloyd G. Balfour Riverwalk Park
"Very nice clean park. I fixed the free book library display while I was there, as the glass door was broken on the ground when I arrived"
"This is such a cute little park! It's absolutely stunning to see during the Fall. It's a great place to bring kids to play or even just sit outside and stare at squirrels. There's enough walkway that you could also bring your dog out or skate down it."
"This park has a skateboarding area so I guess would be perfect for that. However, my 8 year old doesn't skateboard and wanted to play on swings or a fun climbing structure for his age. There were 2 play areas but they are for much younger children. My son was very bored here."
"Love this playground and park. There are benches and tables for picnicing, a fun smaller climber my toddler could enjoy, and a bigger climber better for older children as well. There's a skate park area with jumps, lots of grass and the path along the river is fun to walk with lots of bridges. We ended the morning with a hotdog from Tex Barry's right outside the gate for lunch."
"It's a pretty, little park. I come here to rollerskate in the cement rink. It's relatively clean. I occasionally do find a piece of trash lying around. There are ramps there. I'd call it a skate park but the ramps have blobs of asphalt at the bottom for some reason so I only ever see bikes using them. There are two play places and a few picnic tables. The paved path along the river and around the edge of the park is nice to skate or bike, too."
