"I ventured out to Royalston Falls earlier this week. This place is unique for the area, and I can't wait to go back! There are many places to explore along Falls Brook on the roughly 2-mile round trip via Tully Trail. The hike was great; there is a relatively steep grade towards the beginning half-mile. So be prepared for a bit of a workout! I made the mistake of venturing into slick conditions with wet leaves and rocks. I almost fell a few times, so I recommend wearing proper shoes, especially if you go after a recent rain. Overall, my experience at Royalston Falls was fantastic. The scenery was breathtaking, and the trails were well-maintained and easy to follow. I recommend checking it out if you're in the area. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Happy exploring!"
"I read the reviews and thought this was harder than it actually was. Yes it has a wee bit of elevation but if you have done mount wachusett this is a walk in the park. Really short hike nothing to complain about. With a little bit of off trail trekking you can see all the falls from any vantage point. If you want to see the falls the best thing is to go and see them for yourself. Included is a cool looking tree just above the falls."
"Great trail! Make sure to wear shoes. Not sandals, and it can get muddy this time of year. Other wise beautiful trail and wonderful hike."
"An essential spot to visit in Northern Massachusetts. The hike to the falls is beautiful every time of the year. Hiking boots with good traction are a must to truly explore and enjoy the stunning views along the way. One of the great things about my visits here is the small number of people that I have encountered when hiking."
"Small parking area right off the main road. A quick 0.3 mile hike to the falls. If traveling in the winter months, dress properly & travel with a partner. The trail gets "extremely" slippery @ the falls. Be sure to keep one hand on the cable rails. All in all, a beautiful & serene hike."
