Reviews
"This is a great place to go when you only want a short easy walk. Lots of wildlife thanks to being in the woods as well as along the shores of the Sakonnet River."
"Beautiful peaceful walk through the woods"
"The paths were marked and the ones we took were well maintained. There are trails to fields and trails to water a salt water inlet. Always see wildlife here."
"Great spot for a leisurely walk through the woods and along the shoreline on the east shore of the Sakonnet River. Beautiful views of Woodlands, clearings, marshes, inlets, and the river. It's easy to find and get to. The entrance and parking lot are well marked. They are on the west side of Main Road / Route 138, just a mile or two south of the Sakonnet River bridge that connects Aquidneck Island (Portsmouth) and Tiverton, and a mile or two north of Tiverton Four Corners. Easy walking. Level terrain. Just watch out for the tree roots. You could probably use a stroller, if it has big wheels. No dogs. Best visited in the fall or spring, or on a sunny winter day. Can be muddy if there's been lots of rain. We went on a day n late October after a night with heavy rain, and the ground was fine. It can be really buggy in the summer, so that's probably not a great time to visit."
"Great place to go for a nature walk. Clear paths and beautiful views! Some benches to rest."
