"Wonderful day to spend walking in Second Beach. Plenty of parking. Great to see dogs playing and enjoying the beach. Friendly people."
"Such a beautiful beach. They have all the amenities such as bathrooms, showers, a little shop with everything you need for a day at the beach just incase you forget something and food. The sand is super clean and so soft. It gets packed pretty quickly so you want to get there early. They charge $20 to park for the day."
"Enjoyed the weather over the weekend. Parking takes only cash, so have some cash with you if you want to park your car and visit the beach."
"At the surfers end/edge. A lot of surfing here!! Nice. $20 wkdy for parking!!!!!!!!!!! Wow !!! No showers, only porta Johns! And the water smells like a porta John. At first I saw red sea weed.. ok ! But there's bugs in the water that gets in your suit!! WTH!!! Just go to state park with pass .."
"This is my favorite beach and one I have been coming to since I was a kid. In recent years is has gotten more rocky near the shoreline and the size of the waves is very dependent on how windy it is. (If it’s windy, the waves are very powerful and could be dangerous for some kids). They have a bathhouse with and outdoor showering area and changing rooms. They do have a concession stand with lots of different fried foods and in the summer the del’s frozen lemonade truck. In the summer of 2022, parking is $30 on weekends and holidays and $20 weekdays, but they do have seasonal passes. We got there around 9am which is what I would recommend if you want you pick if the space. It’s usually pretty crowded by 10am on a weekend."
