"This is a wonderful place to walk if you are hopping from mansion to mansion. The views and overall scenery are very relaxing."
"We were only able to do a short section, but it was definitely worth it. It was foggy but still amazing to walk the shore."
"Easy trail along the shore but long! Rewarded with beautiful views of the ocean on one side and the mansions on the other side! Can be quite rocky in places, so definitely one for sturdy shoes, and there’s a section beyond which you can’t go with baby strollers. Other than that, very good workout, easy to moderate depending on fitness level. Free parking at the Breakers, it was empty on a weekday morning around 8am but had filled out by noon. There are more parking spots around the same area though if you determine where you want to begin the walk. The beach are at the end is the perfect place to relax, eat some snacks and generally regroup before doubling back."
"The Cliff Walk itself is wonderful, but don't start at this location. There's no parking. You'll see people parked, but the signs state that you need a permit. If you tour the Breakers you can walk down from there. Otherwise, park up by Easton Beach. If you do start here, go right. There are a couple of tunnels and some rocky parts of the path - lots of fun for older kids and teens. No restrooms."
"Amazing spot to go for a walk with your loved ones! It was our first time discovering this cliff walk as we were in the neighbourhood. Can get very windy during winter time otherwise spring is perfect as well as summer! Not too crowded — people will usually jog or walk with their families/friends. Scenic view, perfect spot for sunsets. Definitely a must visit in Newport, RI."
