Pawtuckaway State Park

"Enjoyed hiking to the fire tower and climbing it to get a great view. Pleasantly surprised someone was manning it, and he was more than willing to chat a bit. Most of the park visitors seem to be there for the lake, so the trails were pretty quiet and peaceful. Entrance was free, at least for the day we went."

"Gorgeous state park with lots to do! We did not get around to it; but the park offers kayak rentals, campground spots, and has a store located on the premises. There is many beautiful trails and scenery."

"Absolutely stunning hidden gem. We rented a tandem kayak, visited many little islands and had the most peaceful day. The park was busy as it was 90 degrees but with that many people everyone was respectful. Showers on site, camp store is well priced and well stocked and all the staff was very pleasant. We will certainly be back. Whether hiking or birdwatching or on the lake you really cant go wrong here."

"P-Tuck is a nice park. With versatility for alot of recreation whether you're hiking, paddling, or scrambling. It's got some character. The campsites are large. As usual not enough space between other sites, but more than most campgrounds so it gets a high grade there. The campgrounds are set off on island looking peninsula - Kinda cool. A lot of waterfront sites - Very cool. Place was packed. Is usually. But it's def worth the trip if you're into this sort of thing. Bathrooms deece. Authority presence medium to medium high. Keep that in mind. If you have no personality then you'll do just fine here. If you have one, just try to tone her down a bit. Don't be too cool..Remember this is New Hampshire..they don't take kindly to one being too cool."
