"Nice place to sit and watch the birds and take pics, and eat a lil snack or to bring your family out kids to run around. But your body can't touch the water cause the lake is a few towns drinking water reservoir. You can fish and have a boat though"

"Our church holds a public-invited picnic every Wednesday in July and August, and it's a lot of fun. The lake is beautiful, and the walking trail is very peaceful. Update: 2/2022. This continues to be a well kept, family safe park. The walking trail is broad, and easy enough for a wheelchair. The lake is peaceful, and visitors are friendly. Our church continues to hold a public-invited (FREE!) picnic, every Wednesday evening through July & August. Bringing a side to share is appreciated, but not required."
