Reviews of Cascade Trail - Trailhead
"There is no parking at Trailhead, and I walk from the local YMCA lot. Trail is not well marked and you need to navigate the stream and rocks to get to the cascades."
"I took my ten year old grandson and we had such a fun time! Park at YMCA or nearby park. Waterfall is beautiful and hike is easy and fun along water. Wear appropriate shoes it can be muddy and wet in spots. Great hike not too hard even for young children."
"See comments on parking below. Trail was muddy when we went. To get close to the falls you will need to get wet so wear shoes that can get wet/muddy. Couple of tricky places where trees have fallen. Trail could use some maintenance."
"This trail was really nice and pretty quick. I’d say 25-30 minutes to walk it depends how quick you go though maybe 45 minutes for someone who walks a little slower or an older folk. It could be a little difficult to find if you park at the ymca it has an elementary school next to it in front of the school has a map how to get to the trail. You walk through the woods and cross a bridge then go across the road and take a right when you can’t walk straight anymore and at the end of the road is the trail next to a house."
"Some rocks & roots to look out for. Relatively easy otherwise. One tricky spot where trail ends up in the rocks in creek bed but with careful rock hopping you can regain the trail. Wear sturdy footwear. Cascade best seen if you climb down to the creek bed at the trail end. Park at the end of the school lot or the Y lot to find trailhead. Follow blue paint markers through residential neighborhood until reaching actual trail. Takes about 1.5 hours without a lot of loitering. Might not be the best with little kids. Some spots may be tricky if one is inexperienced and carrying a child on their back. If this is helpful, click "like"."
