Reviews of Paines Creek Landing and Beach
"Low tide is great with little kids, the tide pools are about 3ft deep then, and the tide comes in fast so the kids can swim. Make sure you have a sticker or go after 4pm, park patrol LOVES to give $40 tickets to locals.."
"Great sunsets, people are friendly if you want to watch the sunset get there early, very limited parking. While you are waiting for the sunset you can walk along the beach. With the right person it could be romantic."
"What looks like a nice, secluded, small beach extends around the turn for a long walkable sand beach flanked by beach grass dunes and sea grasses at the waterline. The other direction is also walkable, but requires crossing the creek which can be deeper/shallow or have strong current depending on the tide."
"Went to this beach with a friend at sunset. Took my drone for a bit of practice, people there were very friendly. Beautiful location for a stroll along the beach and on the sandbar which is extensive. Decent parking but not a whole lot. Get there early or late during the summer."
"Great place for little kids, there's no waves but still has water. The place looks completely different from high tide vs low tide. Parking requires a permit and there's only like ten spots."
