It's location may not be super convenient for those closer to the city, and some of it's drum hardware could use some love, but those issues are more than made up for by it's good practice spaces, friendly and accommodating management, and highly competitive pricing. "This is a great place. I've been playing in bands for years and found practice space to be pretty weak in the Boston area. Renting by the hour is a cool concept. I like Jam Spot, but it has its limitations. Parallel Sound has a wonderful location, right off the highway, plenty of parking and clean rooms with good equipment. Its not like they are handing out Strats at the front door, but everything is brand name and in good working order. If something breaks, the owner Jay is on the scene and hasn't let us down yet. Scheduling is a breeze and made effortless through an online interface. I see they also record and their samples sound pretty good. My band is going to record with them in the fall and I'll update this review to reflect the experience. Pros: Location Price Quality Equipment Customer Service Cons: They aren't open 24/7"
