"Directions to get here via Google Maps are HORRIBLE, so be aware!It's right on 111, but you need to take a tiny side road to get into the parking lot, and that's easy to miss. We were here for a family holiday party. The space was a bit snug, but comfortable. Hard to keep the temperature comfortable. The price to rent it was reasonable. They had concerns about alcohol on the premises; they cannot allow "sale and distribution," so people brought enough for their own personal consumption. (No central sources like kegs, punchbowls, etc.) It's nice inside, with some lovely original woodwork."

"Searles School and Chapel is a very special regional landmark, but beyond it's historical value, my family has made memories while enjoying many community gatherings here. Over the past thirty years, we have experienced the building and grounds for celebrations of various life events. From plays, to dances, to weddings and goodbyes, Searles has brought my family much happiness. We have seen it decorated in beautiful finery or not decorated at all during food and gift sorting for those in need. It is a versatile building that has served us well over many years, and we are grateful that we have been able to become part of its rich history."

"Nephew's wedding. This place is what DREAM weddings are made of!! Magical atmosphere! Great handling by the establishment - from reception area cocktail hour to dinner - just beautiful! AC could have been better. Gorgeous grounds, top notch conduct and service by staff, meticulous grounds keeping and set up for reception activities. Best. Wedding. EVER!"
