"I took a class with Amanda so that I could learn more about monoprinting and I had such a rewarding day! Amanda is an excellent teacher - thoughtful demonstrations, helpful tips, generous feedback! She is an expert but also curious and humble. Her studio space is a great spot to work located conveniently in downtown Easthampton. I am looking forward to taking more classes with her in March."
"I spent an utterly lovely Saturday in Amanda’s beautiful space playing with ink and design! Amanda creates a warm atmosphere of exploration and freedom, perfect for beginning and seasoned artists. She encourages risk-taking and provides compassionate feedback. This is a wonderful thing to do during this time of stress and uncertainty!"
"Amanda Barrow’s monotype print making, and gel plate workshops have been transformational for me as an artist, it was like learning a new language or means of expression. The hours in these workshops were like the endless days of a childhood summer. A small class size, creative space, and nurturing energy make these workshops inviting to everyone regardless of your artistic acumen. Amanda’s knowledge and experience as a print maker allows her to share the various techniques and processes involved in print making in ways that are easy to understand and put into practice."
"I recently took Amanda's Akua ink gel printing workshop. Whether someone has a great deal of printmaking experience or is new to the art form, Amanda's teaching style and expertise are a great fit. Through her guidance, I now feel I have a solid foundation to launch forward on my own to take creative risks. So much fun!"
