"I purchased tile for a backsplash I installed myself. The tile was exactly what we wanted and looks awesome! HOWEVER!! When I ordered it I gave them the dimensions and let them determine how much tile I needed. Big mistake. Now I have a full box (88 tiles) plus 13 from the second box (which is fine) leftover that I will never use. Easy Peasy. Just return the extra box. NO! Because backsplash tiles are special order so no returns. I’m not done. They said they have no record of my name in their system. How convenient! I can go on but I won’t. I’m to pissed."
"Made a trip to Classic Flooring looking for some transitions to match our flooring and was assisted by Kevin Lajoie. His customer service was beyond exceptional! It is rare these days to meet someone so helpful and with a smile. He certainly gained a life long customer! Great job Kevin!"
"We recently had a new construction house built and were forced to go through this company. For one, they charge you labor by the amount they feel necessary to order, rather than the house's actual sq footage. The tile shower grout is horribly placed in a lot of spots, as well as missing grout in spots. A contractor said this will eventually lead to mold. The vinyl flooring is not lined up correctly, with leaving gaps between walls, doors, and the flooring. Which will also lead to mold near our outside doors. The flooring is bubbled in numerous spots throughout the house. We also talked to a saleperson, Stephen, in person about how I did not want a stand up shower without a bench numerous times. We were never showed sketches of the shower and didn't realize until it was done he did not include this. He then denied us ever talking about it. Bottom line, I would not use this company."
"We are a military family that had recently bought a house in Maine from California via facetime. Unbeknownst to us the previous owner smoked inside of the house for 19 years. We have an 18 month old with respiratory issues and eczema and we needed the carpets out and replaced immediately. We had cleaners in the house when one of them recommended classic flooring after hearing that we had several insane quotes with an install times months out. My Dad is here helping with the move so he went to the store while I stayed home with my sick child who was having episodes from the smell. John was absolutely amazing and helped in every way possible. They werent able to install until later in the week which was understandable because we went to them at 3:30pm on a Monday. Early Tuesday morning, John called and said he could have guys come out to remove the old carpet and install the new in a couple of hours!!! My Dad had ordered the carpet based off of his measurements so one of the carpets was short a couple of inches in my closet (completely my dad's fault) but the installer had already called John before telling us the problem. John was willing to run up more carpeting asap to us but since it was in the closet, I did not care and we used leftover pieces from the other room. The two men installing the carpets were professional, quick, accurate and clean. The pricing too for everything was extremely affordable. We will absolutely be using them when it is time to finish our basement. It was an extremely positive experience all around for a really crummy situation."
"Mixed bag: The showroom has a good selection of tile and pre-finished wood flooring. Jessica seemed to know the products and was very helpful. So far 5-stars. We went ahead and contracted with Classic Flooring to install tile in the upstairs bathroom and a pre-finished wood flooring product in the hallway and two bedrooms of my daughter's new condo. I didn't notice until after I paid the 50% deposit that the wood floor installation charge was based on the square footage of the material that they ordered, not the actual square footage of the job (349 sq-ft vs. 309 sq-ft). It was only an extra $140, but it seems very deceptive (I still need to reach out to ME Attorneys General to check if this is even legal). They didn't even list the actual square footage of the job anywhere on the quote. Installation started one day late, but not a big deal. The chief installer, Anthony, missed his calling. He has a thunderous voice and knows all the words to all the songs (including the very heavy metal songs) that they blast while they work. He also has a very colorful vocabulary. After 5-years as an Army officer I thought I was pretty immune to such language, but it still took me a bit off guard. He also left a nice 15 to 20-foot burnout on the grass in front of the condo which still hasn't grown back after several months."
