"Wow! I work at a "box" store just down the road from Rockland, and today, the manager treated us all to South End Pizza. Holy cow! I have been looking for a pizza that tasted like this for years! I'll be in this weekend. Amazing! Tastes like a slice from the best pizzeria in NYC! Yaaay. So happy I found you!"
"The store itself is not bad, but the lady running the front register has a major attitude issue. She told me to F off cause she thought I gave her a bad look. Even the guys behind me in line though it was uncalled for as I was being very polite with please and thank you being said. I used to go there every weekend for hotdogs, but I think I'll take my business over to Lincolns in Warren from here on out."
"Ordered Italian. 25 mins. Fine. But I get there ask if the sandwich is a turkey and if it’s mine I get “I don’t know” then another lady comes up and goes “NAME!?????” While they had people waiting to still order. I worked in a deli for 5 years. I’m disgusted with the way my Italian looks && taste. Learn how to put a sub together or I can come teach you if you need me to! The store has potential but the CS is horrid. Pic on the right is after I fixed it myself."
"We really really wanted to like this place. And we’ll give it another shot because one experience could’ve just been off and it’s a great little neighborhood store with a good vibe and awesome selection of groceries, given the size. However, we ordered two medium pizzas. One 3 topping, one with four. We got there and they had signs everywhere of their special: 3-topping large for $9.99. So we asked about it, and we basically got flat out ignored. We asked at the deli (who took our phone order) why they didn’t mention that we could have ordered the same pizza larger for $2 less? No response. (Our pizza also happened to be the only pre-ordered pizzas NOT in the warmer.) then we got to the cashier, we asked her about charging us more for smaller pizzas; flat out Ignored us. We stopped the transaction and asked her again. She told us they charge extra when extras are ordered, such as extra meat. When we explained we did not order anything with “extras” she just disregarded us completely as if we hadn’t said anything. The red sauce is good. Pizzas were good, other than too much doughy crust, but the flavor was there. Basically some simple understanding and the slightest desire to be helpful would’ve helped our experience very easily. Also, on the pizza menu, sausage is breakfast sausage not Italian sausage. Weird choice."
