"While Lola was super nice, my hair is a disaster. I wanted a dark hair color and she proceeded to pressure me into a light color to match my natural roots which did not even cover the color in my hair. Then proceeded to put “highlights” in my hair where they are BRIGHT WHITE on he roots of my hair and then NONEXISTENT through the rest of the hair. To go in with one color and come out with the EXACT same color and horrible highlights, NOT worth the $210. Now I will be having to go to a different salon to get what I actually asked for done."

"I am really disappointed by my experience here. Within the first 3 minutes of walking in i could just feel how unwelcome i was. I suggested i could reschedule and come back another time and they said no they would take care of me. I was so excited for my appointment, something so simple getting a trim to clean up the ends, and i ended up leaving in tears wishing i left when i first questioned the place. Nicole absolutely butchered my hair. They need work on customer service and how to welcome their customers. I will not be back after this horrible experience nor would i recommend. Attached is a photo of the haircut they think is acceptable."

Meshila not only does amazing job on my virgin lashes, but she is also a great therapist too letting me vent while she makes me feel beautiful! Thank you Meshila! "So disappointing. A hair stylist that I have gone to many times in the past, and I have loved, was put in a strange position. She had to STOP cutting my hair to sell a walk in customer a bottle of Avedo shampoo. As I sat for a few minutes, I asked if I could make myself a coffee. As I walked to make my coffee, I witnessed the owner sitting with two other employees in the room right next to the hair salon and having full-on conversation about nothing in-particular. After the shampoo sale was complete, my stylist came back to finish my cut, and I am unsure if she remembered where she left off. A few minutes later the owner came out to greet a prior customer of hers ( an old man), so she was full aware of what was going on in the room in ear shot of where she was sitting. I went to another salon in the Old Port for a touch up color and asked to have my previous hair cut checked, as I was having difficulty styling it. Turns out, the cut was a disaster...uneven and then some. The new stylist in the Old Port fixed it at NO cost. Illusions should treat their current employees with more respect so they can do their job effectively. Totally disgusted and WILL NEVER GO BACK!"
