"The Wolfeboro location of Hancock lumber is huge! Loads of really nice quality lumber and building products. Very helpful staff. This place had so much wood in stocks! Everything from post and beam type lumber, standard dimensional lumber in spruce and fir. Treated lumber, even huge poles for docks or temp service pole. Very impressive selection of building products for interior and exterior projects. Our guy forgot to pick up two rolls of Grace ice/water he purchased along with a bunch of lumber. We went back for a few more things, mentioned the Grace rolls we forgot, they did a quick check on the inventory, and within minutes, we were on our way. Really good service and friendly staff."

"In my experience at hancock lumber in Wolfeboro nh the best I can say is the schedule was good. In my opinion Hancock lumber was in transition mode from winnipasaukee lumber to hancock lumber and didn’t want to change the bad habits or poor management from winnipasaukee lumber to try and keep the peace as they phased in Hancocks way of doing things. I observed very unprofessional management with condescending co workers. If you’re new and try to better the way they do things you’ll be ostracized and on everyone’s hit list. I would not recommend the Wolfeboro nh hancock lumber if you’re looking to better your career and enjoy a good working environment with people who care about doing things right not if you’re related to a manager or a prior winnipasaukee employee ."
