"Stopped in because we had some time while waiting for a table for dinner. What a hidden gem! Don't be fooled by the small selection. The products are clearly well curated. I am super into food and food accessories and had never heard of some of the wares, such as the rice vinegar. Some I had heard of but had never seen available, like the only soy sauce produced in the US. The owner knew so many phenomenal facts about the products and the sources, I was genuinely happy to meet him as a fellow food enthusiast. Please go buy his vinegar, at minimum. He offers tastings and it is by far the best I've tried in a long time."

"Stopped in because I love food - especially something I've never tried. Frank, the owner, is entertaining, informative, and most of all, welcoming and friendly. He knows the items in his store and the back-stories about all of them. I can't wait to get the Duck Comfit back home and follow his directions to enjoy not only the cooked duck leg and thigh inside, but also how to drain, strain, use and store the duck fat. It's like getting 2 products in one package. You need to keep a sharp eye out to reach his store. He is upstairs over another store. He has a sign marking the way up the stairs, but if you are not looking for him, you may not notice the sign. And that will be your loss. I expected to spend five minutes perusing the products, and ended up spending well over 30 minutes talking food. I would definitely visit him and his store again if I ever get back to Freeport, ME. For now, all I can do is hope he starts an online store so the products can be sent out to my state of NV."
