"Excellent customer service. Their ability to recall our previous purchases and color selections is a great help."
"Super nice guy! Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Been shopping here for years and love the products."
"This store is great. It's always busy though, and usually only manned by one person. This means that the store employees are expected to juggle counter traffic, mixing orders, and taking new orders on the phone... This can lead to lines and impatient people I've noticed. This time it was me. Yes, this location probably gets 95% of it's revenue from large pre-orders and contractors, but the counter and walk-in customers are important too, and I feel like they get a little bit of the 'whatever' treatment... But only from one employee in particular. I'm not usually into calling people out by name, but in this case it's warranted: To have one employee who's absolute lack of customer service skills are so egregious that they bring a 5 star review down to 3, means one thing: that employee isn't doing their job even remotely well. At this store, currently, this person's name is G***. I've never felt more unimportant when dealing w a counter person. Last experience: she's the only employee in the store. After approaching the counter with 3 sample cards, and indicating right off the bat that we'd like samples, she turns and starts clicking away at the keyboard, staring at screen and ignoring my wife for 2 minutes. (Not feels like 2 minutes. I looked at my phone. 2 minutes) After those 2 minutes? "So did you guys make up your mind?" Yes. Yes we did. 2 minutes ago when you apparently completely checked out and started ignoring us... Then? Phone calls were answered, their orders taken to completion; not put on a short hold while our very small order of 3 samples was completed. 2 other foot traffic orders were also completed before us. It wasn't the length of time taken by the mixing machine either... There were long stretches where the machine wasn't mixing and it seemed like she had switched to helping other people entirely. We left almost 35 minutes after we arrived, for 3 samples we picked in under 2 min in the door. So basically, the only employee at this store who can't seem to handle the store solo was left alone to do so, and maybe could have done so if they weren't so out to lunch and dismissive... and instead just finished things in the order that they happen/come in. Maybe she wouldn't have to worry about dropping the ball so much if there were a second person present? I dunno. It's hard to tell... If I'm being 100, she didn't seem like the kind of person who would suddenly start caring just because someone showed up to lighten the load, just someone who didn't care about their job and probably never would. Helping customers seemed 'beneath her', if that makes sense. Anyway. My wife and I will continue to come here. Great paint (like, even their lower grade stuff is levels above the 'shelf aged' cans you find at Löz/Home Despot) and everyone *else* that works here is knowledgeable and helpful... Please, just train everyone the same way! ...and G***. Sorry, not sorry. If you want a better/different job, do everyone a favor including yourself and go get it. There is someone out there who would be grateful for the one you have now, and actually try to do it well."
"I purchased paint from a box store out of pure convenience. After 3 coats of their premium paint with still no coverage, and the satin sheen felt like flat paint, I gave up! I went back to the boys at the Windham Maine Sherwin Williams store. As always the coverage is best, the color is beautiful, and the sheen is spot on! As busy as those boys are, the service is the best time after time. Much better service than other Sherwin locations...Life time customer here!"
"Everyone is so incredibly helpful at this SW store. They work hard to make sure you are satisfied with your color and quality of the paint. Love it and I will always buy my paint here! The store manager Jacob is amazing."
