"Wonderful nail techs who are very kind and knowledgeable. Plus they are one of the -very- few places that do soft gel! They also have the classics like acrylic and dip, and they offer spa manicure and pedicure options. I'm just up here on vacation, but I was desperate for a fill and this place delivered! Pricing is average for the area."
"Katie Nails is the best nail salon around. They’re also professional and do a great job. Katie always goes the extra mile for her customers even when the nail design is challenging she always nails them perfectly."
"Okay. Took forever. Had to fix them twice. Still don't look blended. Obviously will not be back here again. No need to tell me not to come back. Very rude and condescending people here. As you can see it's not even blended correctly."
"05/11/23 The best nail salon in town. Came in very early for my appointment and they didn’t let me wait for long. Katie is the one that did my nails and I’m so happy for the result she is super nice, amazing and will totally make your nails look good to the highest level. Get your nails done @Katie’sNail North Conway. Thank you so much Katie and to all Katie’s Nail team for being the best nail salon in town. Ailyn"
"KATIE IS RUDE. WAITED 18 MINUTES. NAILS LOOK AWFUL. I am not local to the area, when I pulled into the plaza, I had five minutes to spare, so I went to Starbucks. My GPS kept having me go in circles, by the time I found the salon it was 2:07 PM, I had a 2 o’clock appointment. When I walked in, I said who I was, and who my appointment was with. I was asked to pick out a color, I waited 18 minutes. Finally, a woman who had been sitting near me… eating lunch, gossiping with her coworkers asked me to “go sit in her seat” I said, “I don’t know where your seat is” annoyed, she flicked her wrist pointing to her general area. When she came over, I said, “are you guys really busy today or just running a little behind” she responded VERY loudly, “I’m not running late, you didn’t get here until 2:15 so I sat for lunch” (I was factually there at 2:07). Caught off guard by her aggressive response, I started to discuss what shape I like my nails. She said, “when I’m ready for you to tell me about shapes, I will ask” I was talking to my sister in law on the phone, (Airpods) even she was like, “oh my god, she is so rude” * if she didn’t already have acrylic on my nails, I would have stood up and walked. As she continue doing my nails, I gave her time to get the shape right - as she continued to file beyond what I wanted, I asked her to stop filing and tried to explain again what shape I wanted. She again shouted loudly, and told me she was not done shipping them yet. The place was packed, and she was literally yelling at me. I told her she had already filed too much, and expressed several times that I simply wanted her to stop filing further. At this point, she wanted to apply more acrylic powder, I have been getting acrylic nails for 15+ years. I did NOT want her adding additional powder because they would not have held up. She was causing a huge scene; shouting, and quite literally demanding I let her apply more acrylic powder. I said to her, “ you are making a huge deal right now, and I’m asking you to please stop, I just want you to complete my nails, so I can leave” I told her I had another appointment I needed to get to, and I did not have time for Friday corrections: not true, I just wanted to leave. I am not a person who gets uncomfortable in awkward social situation, but even for me… this was too much. I chose this salon based on the Google reviews, I asked for her specifically based on her reviews. I was completely disgusted with the service. I am in the area trying to enjoy a four day getaway, this experience did nothing but cause stress!! My left hand is noticeably longer than the right hand, and the shape is awful. Terrible, terrible experience all the way around. I never leave online reviews, and if it was just an ugly full set, I wouldn’t leave a review. I am leaving a review based on the terrible customer, AND the bad shaping! No, paying customer (regardless of one time “drop in” customer vrs. regulars) should be treated badly! there is a sign behind her, workstation, talking about valuing people & life. What a joke. Terrible, simple awful ALL the way around!!! Katie, I see you posted a predictable response. Rude, just like your service. Pictures done lie. The nails look awful."
