"Just had my first steaks. I consider myself a connoisseur of steaks and have had it all. These steaks are mind blowing! I am a new lifelong customer as of today."
"Delicious meat, very tasty. Definitely will stop by again to buy your meat."
"The service was amazing, I can't wait to cook up some of the wonderful cuts of meat I got. Definitely will be going again, same prices as the grocery store but at a much better quality."
"Had to get away from my computer and out of the house for a little while yesterday. I started poking around the websites for the farms in my area. Thinking I'd like better quality meat and to support the folks that have been keeping this industry alive in Maine. Sticker shock isn't even close to describing my reaction as I was looking at the prices of these places. Even something as simple as ground beef had prices of $14.00 a pound and up. I had driven by Roebucks coming back from fishing previously; so I knew there was a beef farm on the road, but it wasn't showing up. Dug a little deeper and found a facebook page, phone number and address. So I headed out. Got there shortly after the retail store opening and yup, it is 100% a working farm. You can see the Angus munching away as you walk into the shop. Discussed their beef and the various other meats they had for sale with one of the owners (I assume). The beef is theirs and the other meats and dairy come from other farms in the area, topsham, wndham... And was excited about the pricing. Sure it's more than I would pay at the supermarket, but not so much more I feel like a fool trying to support a local businesses. Including pictures of the pricing as of 4/14/21 and some of the package options available. I was told that they tend to have specials or package deals on saturday so it may be worth a weekend trip to check that out. I know carrying cash is tedious, but when you support a small business, try and bring it. I've worked in the credit processing industry before and if most folks realized the infrastructure built on the backs of merchants they would be appalled. Smaller retailers can loose between 3 and 5 percent of every transaction to swipe that card."
"My family and I love this place. The beef is fresh and comes in individual packages. We place an order on Facebook and pick it up the next day. They also have free recipes on there Facebook page. Sue is the sweetest person that you will ever talk to. They also have fresh farm eggs!"
